Town Fund - 3rd Bridge, Fountain & Lighthouse

I have been working really hard lately on contributing to the town fund in order to gain some extra pretty things for Munroe. I had already procured the 3rd bridge, much earlier in the game, which I positioned right outside Tiffany's house, but prospects of a fountain & a lighthouse kept me working diligently.

It didn't take me as long as I had thought to get both the lighthouse and the fountain - but I am glad that its done.

To get a 3rd Bridge, Lighthouse/ Windmill & Fountain, you must donate the following to your town fund:

A new bridge built in town -  Donate 200,000 Bells
A fountain built in town  -  Donate 400,000 Bells
A windmill or a lighthouse built in town -  Donate 1,000,000 Bells

The Town Gate

I have only ever had one visitor to my town... It was a pretty awesome experience. I little nerve racking, but fun. I have always wondered though... what kind of impression does my town give visitors?
There is nothing great about my town... its got some flowers in it, I have a couple or exotic fruit trees and I have an impressive house... but that's about it.

I am not going to transform my town over night, but I am hell bound on making my town a comfy place to visit.  Yesterday I made Munroe its on flag. As you can see in the photos, its basically an Animal Crossing take on the Canadian flag. I figured, hey my guests should know they are visiting a Canadian town eh? ha!

I have also spent WAY too much time donating time to the Town Fund to get a lovely fountain at the town gate. It took 500,000 bells to get this thing but, what an impression to make on visitors!
What a lovely fountain! What a lovely fountain surrounded by hybrid flowers!
Yea, I added the hybrids in afterward, for what I think is a more pleasing look then all the normal flowers huddled around.

You can't really see the hybrids or the fountian in thier best light in these photos...
I'll try a little harder next time.
Until all the grass grows in around the fountain though... this is all I got..
